Studies have found semen analysis of infertile men or those with low sperm count (oligospermic) taking 200mg of Shilajit daily for 90 days have a 9.8% increase in FSH, (Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH) cause the testes to produce testosterone and sperm). Also noted was improved sperm parameters including volume (37.6%), count (61.4%), motility (12.4-17.4%), the percent of sperm with normal morphology (18.9%) coupled with a reduction in lipid peroxidation levels (MDA) in the semen (18.7%), (Patel,K Oct 2019).
